What is Mohammed Bin Rashid Award for Arabic Language?

The Mohammed bin Rashid Award for Arabic Language is the highest appreciation of the efforts of the Arabic language personnel and institutions in the context of initiatives launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to promote, disseminate and use Arabic Language.

The Mohammed bin Rashid Award for Arabic Language is the highest appreciation of the efforts of the Arabic language personnel and institutions in the context of initiatives launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to promote, disseminate and use Arabic Language.

The general qualifications are as follows:

Authenticity and scientific honesty: The work must be authentic, not imitated or copied, taking into account the assets of scientific honesty.
Language: The work should be in the correct Arabic language.
The objectives of the initiative: The initiative has achieved the objectives and the desired results, or are achievable.
Intellectual property: The initiator of the initiative (organization or individual) shall acknowledge ownership of it

Class of the best way to teach and learn Arabic in early education:

    1. Initiate early reading skills to encourage their practice.

    1. The work of art (a play or film, songs, music or programs of competitions, or creative works) shall be of cultural value, and submitted in fluent Arabic language.
    2. The initiative shall contribute to absorbing cultural diversity and taking care of Arab heritage.
    3. The initiative shall contribute to the affirmation of the Arabic language’s ability to create literary and artistic creativity.

Class of the best initiative to promote reading culture and knowledge society:

    1. The initiative shall encourage reading in Arabic language for the different fields of knowledge.
    2. The initiative has achieved widespread popularity among readers through the number of beneficiaries.
    3. The initiative shall be within a comprehensive plan (through an organization, city, or country) to promote a culture of reading, and to achieve a knowledge society.
    4. The initiative shall include an invitation to select the content of the reading material to achieve intellectual, cultural and spiritual values, and to advocate tolerance, coexistence, and enlightenment among human beings.
